Day 1 London - Rio de Janeiro via Sao Paulo on TAM Airlines

Day 2 Rio de Janeiro
Guide at Rio de Janiero Galeao airport and transfer to hotel. 
Evening free. 
How about a dinner at one of the great Brazilian “Churrascarias”? Try Porcão in Flamengo or Marius in Leme. Or for seafood, there is an excellent restaurant in Copacabana called Marius Crustáceos.

Day 3 Rio de Janeiro – full day city tour with Christ Statue & Sugarloaf

Day 4 Rio de Janeiro
Day at leisure in Rio de Janeiro.
Enjoy the famous beaches Copacabana or Ipanema, or maybe visit the botanic gardens in Rio. Shopaholics should head for the Barra shopping centre. For good restaurants and nightlife, the Lapa area is recommended.

Day 5 Rio de Janeiro – Iguaçu Falls
Transfer with Portuguese-speaking driver to airport for flight to Foz do Iguaçu. Arrival in Foz do Iguaçu and transfer to hotel. 
Afternoon and evening free. Recommended optional tour: the Bird Park - over 500 species, both indigenous and from other continents.

Day 6 Iguaçu Falls - Itaipu Dam and Argentian Falls
Transfer to the Itaipu hydroelectric power plant for a short film and drive through the plant. Continue to the falls on the Argentinian side, crossing the Iguaza River by the Tancredo Neves Bridge. Arrive at the Falls and and walk along special pathways and bridges that approach close to the falls. From the Argentinian side there is good view of the San Martin island and Brazil. Transfer back to the hotel. 
Evening free. Recommended optional tour: dinner and folkloric show at Rafain with dancing from Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay.

Day 7 Iguaçu Falls – Macuco Safari
Drive to the National Park and the Macuco Trail. Board electric jeeps for a 20-minute drive through the forest. Stops are made for explanation of the flora and fauna. Then a walk of 600 m through the forest to see the Macuco Falls, before ariving at the banks of the Iguazu River. Board open boats and cruise up the Iguaza Canyon - right up the Falls, if the water level permits. Return to jeeps to drive to the falls on the Brazilian side for another walkway with great views. Transfer back to hotel.

Day 8 Iguaçu Falls - the Amazon – Amazon Eco Park
Transfer to airport for flight to Manaus. On arrival, transfer to the "Amazon Ecopark Lodge" for a welcome drink and check-in. Dinner, then evening tour by canoe for alligator-spotting. Overnight at the lodge.

Day 9 The Amazon - Amazon Eco Park
After breakfast, a "nature trail" to discover the rainforest. Return for lunch. Visit the home of local Amazon residents ("cabaclos"). Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 10 The Amazon - Amazon Eco Park
Full day tour to the "Meeting of the Waters", with lunch of regional cuisine at a floating restaurant, and an opportunity for piranha fishing. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 11 The Amazon - Salvador
Visit to the "Monkey Jungle A" rehabilitation centre, where primates are brought when confiscated from illegal sales or export. They are quarantined and evaluated by vets before being reintroduced into the jungle. Then transfer to Manaus airport for flight to Salvador. On arrival, transfer to hotel. Evening at leisure.

Day 12 Salvador - Full day city tour

Day 13 Salvador
Day at leisure. Enjoy the great beaches, or take an optional tour on a schooner sailing the "Bahia de Todos os Santos" bay, with around 30 islands.

Day 14 Salvador - London
Free until departure. Checkout at noon and transfer to airport for homeward flight via Sao Paulo on TAM airlines. 

Day 15 Arrive London
